Splashes of Hope has begun a new program of painting on children's hands as they receive or await their chemotherapy treatments. 

Splashes of Hope conceived of this project while we were working at the UNM Children's Heart Center in New Mexico.

Thanks to a grant from the Laurence W. Levine Foundation, Splashes of Hope artists now provide hand-painting for the patients and siblings at the Stony Brook Pediatric Oncology clinic.  2008 Volunteer of the Year Sandy Romano is in charge of this program.

Free Splashes of Hope coloring books are given to the children courtesy of the Laurence W. Levine Foundation, and designed by the Graphic Art department at Farmingdale University.
