NBC Philadelphia - Lauren Loose and her battle against brain tumors

John Loose's daughter Lauren has been battling brain tumors since she was a baby. In and out of hospitals, the family met many children who were sick and scared. So they decided to do something that could bring hope.

Loose, a football coach at Lafayette College, put together a unique program to raise money for cancer research with the help of a little pigskin.

Hope is Here to Stay by Patrice Mary Domozych is a true story about the dreams of Lauren Evelyn Loose to help others who are battling childhood cancer. This children's book is a collaborative effort between Lauren's First and Goal, Lauren's "Ampr" Aunt Patrice and the talented and generous artists from Splashes of Hope.
