​The Safe Center - Bethpage, NY
Thanks to the generosity of Astoria Bank (now   Sterling National Bank), 3 beautiful hand-painted murals were installed yesterday at   The Safe Center, in Bethpage. It is our hope that these local, soothing scenes bring comfort to all that view them.
​Huntington Light Box Project - Huntington, NY
Splashes of Hope is proud to team up with the Town of Huntington, completing a customized painting on one of the local Traffic Signal Boxes. The theme was Heckscher Park, identifying the significant landmark and the beautiful park that exemplifies the town. 

Let's celebrate what a great town Huntington provides to the community! If you find yourself at the Huntington train station, take a photo with the traffic box and tag @SplashesofHope1 on facebook or on instagram @splashesofhope ​
Huntington Hospital  - Huntington, NY

Here are images of the installed murals and ceiling tiles in the Huntington Emergency Pediatric Department (sponsored by  Claire Friedlander Family Foundation). Each mural has a corresponding ceiling tile. A total of 6 murals and 6 ceiling tiles were installed.

​Hayley's  Mural 

Splashes of Hope artists created this customized mural for 16-year-old Hayley. Her wish is to visit Paris, and that's exactly what our artists depicted, plus her favorite things including her cats, and fashion design. This is a Splash through Mr. Dave, a dedicated volunteer from  a local wish program.   Dave  matches up children with Splashes of Hope, to create a customized mural for their bedroom.

Below is a quote from Hayley's mom:
"Thank you so much for the beautiful mural it brought the biggest smiles today. She hasn't stopped talking about it all day!!"
Raynor & D'Andrea Funeral Home Murals - Sayville, NY
On July 10th, we were able to brighten the children's room at  Raynor & D'Andrea Funeral Homes, in West Sayville.  The murals depict peaceful, local scenes of nature to brighten up the children's room, located in the basement of the facility. Included in the murals are marine scenes, the Robert Moses lighthouse, and a tree of life.  (A special thanks to the Gagnon kids  and Chase for modeling!)

Huntington Hospital- Huntington, NY
In July  The NPD Group  held a dedication for the two murals they sponsored for the Pediatric Unit at Huntington Hospital.  These murals were painted during the NPD's event, called 'Bring Your Kids To Work Day.'   Splashes of Hope artists guided the children to paint in these custom murals, and  decorated 100 gift bags which were donated to hospitalized children. 'Friend on the Mend' gift bags contain an animal puppet, box of crayons, and Splashes of Hope's 'Friend on the Mend' coloring book, to occupy a child's imagination while waiting to be seen by a doctor.   The purpose of this project is to help children in the Pediatric  Unit  take their minds beyond hospital walls.

​Tree Of Life - Pediatric Oncology Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital
The amazing new Splashes of Hope mural for Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, PA depicts a 360-degree view of a tree of life, for the new Pediatric Oncology Unit. The mural serves patients and families to interact together and give life and nature inside of the unit. Thank you to our supporters at Lehigh Valley for a wonderful project, we hope to be back soon!
EPIC  Long Island + NYU  Winthrop Hospital
-Thanks to Astoria Bank these beautiful murals (pictured) got installed at  EPIC Long Island, Inc.

-Thanks to all of our artists from Paint Night these ceiling tiles (pictured) have been completed and each scene will be installed above the recovery bed for an adult patient to view at  NYU Winthrop Hospital.
​Legacy Mural: Huntington Hospital -  Huntington, NY

The Engel family  is delighted to have helped bring this Legacy Mural to Northwell Health Huntington Hospital. Their fondest hope is that it will transform every child’s visit there, taking it  from clinical to colorful. Get the full story in our   blog.
Long Island State Veteran's Home - Stony Brook, NY
The Splash Team held a community painting event at the Tulip Festival, held in Heckscher Park in Huntington, Long Island. Splashes of Hope artists  took the mural  back to the studio for touch ups and a final coat of varnish. The mural is now installed at the  Long Island State Veterans Home  in Stony Brook, Long Island for the patients and residents to reflect on fond memories and a peaceful outlook.
