THE HOME FOR LITTLE WANDERERS: ADOPT A WALL
The week of MAY 22 in recognition of National Foster Care Month, Splashes of Hope will be installing four murals sponsored by the Laurence W. Levine Foundation for the Home For Little Wanderers. While we are in the neighborhood, the Splash Team would love to do more for this facility in need of a brighter environment.
You can help us make a big "splash" by helping to fund
a new project to uplift the environment for foster children.
The Home for Little Wanderers, with roots that trace back to 1799, offers temporary and permanent housing to children in foster care, as well as special education classes, clinical support, and a variety of other humanitarian services. Splashes of Hope has been asked to paint an uplifting mural in the Preschool Outreach Program stairwell area children in the Home.
Pictured below is an example of a small sized adorable hot air balloon. These will provide focal points with family focused and inspirational words. They would be installed in the stairwell of the Home (pictured empty below). Our goal is to raise enough money to purchase as many hot air balloons as possible to fill the stairwell! Select a size or donate whatever possible: A small hot air balloon is a suggested donation of $50 A medium hot air balloon is a suggested donation of $100 A large hot air balloon is a suggested donation of $150 |
